In 2017, we are in an era of technology boom and global industrialization. We have adapted ourselves so much to the modern day luxuries that life seems to be difficult without them. These modern day luxuries have brought us comfort and have eased our everyday tasks. But, the other side of the coin shows what all we had to sacrifice to advance to the present stage.
Industrialization has caused severe irreversible changes to the environment which is now showing its ill effects to almost all living beings on earth. Pollution, of all kind, be it air, water, soil or sound pollution has increased drastically within the past couple of decades. The major cause is industrialization. Man deploid the forest lands to build factories. Forests have been cut to build cities and towns. Chemical wastes from the factories are being flushed into rivers affecting the purity of water. All you will find in the modern day cities is concrete..
Within the last couple of decades, man has caused so much of harm to the environment that it shakes me to the core when I think about it...
Therefore, I have decided to promote and endorse the beauty and simplicity of nature through my blog so that people come to understand the importance of our natural resources and imagine the "feel of purity"...
For a relatively small, landlocked state, Uttarakhand contains an exceptional amount of natural beauty and cultural diversity. This was the major reason I decided to start my blog with Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand is a place which is so close to my heart. It still has places that are remote and almost untouched by the modern day technologies. These are the places where you will find Nature's beauty at its fullest.
Snowcapped mountains full of wilderness and shallow rivers flowing through the valleys simply bring great contrast to the beautiful nature made scenery.
So, as we move further, I would like to bring you up with almost all sorts of details about the beautiful places and natural resources of Uttarakhand. We will move place by place leaving no stones unturned.
